In this article I would try to explain you what happens after consumption of fast food and also long term consequences on our health.


We all fell joy when we are going to eat fast food.This is because red meat contains alot of amino acids which stimulate the production of serotonin,the hormone of happiness, which is why in that moment you are feeling better.Sugar and HFCS also have similar effect ( they spike the glucose level in blood ) and that why we have desire to eat junk food when we are feeling depressed and not in the mood.


Because today most of the junk food is made of refined and GMO oils,with consumption of junk we also consume trans fats which are extremely unhealthy type of fats.This type of fats are linked with some cancers and heart problems and diseases.Also the hamburgers are full of salt which makes our body to retain water,which will make you fell bloated and also increase the work of your heart,which increase blood pressure.
Note: Don’t be afraid od saturated fats and cholesterol found in red meat.Most recent studies show that those are healthy,but the problem from read meat is that our gut microbes break down the compound known as carnitine,which then produces trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO).TMAO is associated with atherosclerosis and can increase the risk of heart problems.


You will damage your arteries by consuming only one junk food meal.These are results from 2012,in the study published in the Journal of the Canadian Journal of Cardiology.Also constantly eating of those trans fats that are found in hamburgers and other junk food will eventually clog your veins.

Blood sugar

Because hamburger is made from refined carbohydrates and white sugar,and even worse HCFC,those carbohydrates are quickly absorbed in our body which on long run can increase the risk of developing diabetes type 2.[1]


Junk food contain alot of unhealthy calories which don’t have any nutritional value.It is like putting water in car.Also these calories with the time can increase your body weight and expose you to other type of diseases.

You will increase the chances of colon cancer
Study in which participated 148,610 people between the ages of 50 and 74 shows that high consumption of red and processed meats will increase the risk of colorectal cancer.On another side the consuming of fish and fowl don’t have that effect.[2]

Meat just ain’t what it used to be

Today animals are fed with grains,they are injected with hormones and antibiotics to be bigger and to be protected from disease.And it is interesting that those methods are approved by FDA but they never tested are they harmful for consumers.
